The winding insanity from The Principality of Monaco
one word, amazing! although Michael Schumacher could only manage 7th place but to go from 8th on the grid to last and a lap down after a losing his front wing, then come back to 7th and beat the lap record, was simply stunning. although he didn't win, and his pace at the start was disappointing, but he indeed showed why he is the 7 time World Formula One Champion. he only quits after crossing the cheaquered flag, and he did exactly that, going pass team-mate Barrichello and brother Ralf at the last corner and down to the straight.
you know navein and nirpal always asked me, who do you think will be the next contender to Schumacher's illustrious career? and i've always known it would be and told them it would be Kimi Raikkonen, not that he is a Schumacher (i doubt anyone can match up to him, ever),but driving for the team Mika Hakkinen and Ayrton Senna drove for, ice cool style and that consistency has always impressed me. today he was in a league of his own, showing how he is back in form and not gonna let Alonso run away with the championship.
but i'll say this, just cause he won Monaco Grand Prix, doesn't mean he is the king of the street circuit. that title will always remain with Senna. his qualifying laps back in the late 80's was scary to watch, he claimed it was like an outer body experience and of course he has won it the most,6 times. coming in close to second would be my hero the Scarlet Baron.
anyways...
although i didn't see a Ferrari win, i enjoyed my Monaco Grand Prix. after which i cleaned the house, i hate to vacuum the carpet on the stairs, it sucks. but atleast the house looks spotless now. while cleaning the shower, i almost tripped and fall in my bath tub, reminded me of 'What Lies Beneath', heahehae. i love my bath tub. it looks like a jacuzzi tub with a nice place to sit your ass down right under shower (i'll miss all the times i've spent crying under that shower). well i'll enjoy my last few months here (not all under the shower).
okay me wanna go watch 'Joey' now, and happy anniversary again Mom and Dad, later...
