any given sunday
this sunday couldn't have started any better, after i finished writing my blog last night i wanted to hit the sack but decided to flip channels around for awhile and there you go, al pacino, dennis quaid, cameron diaz, jamie foxx put together to play football by oliver stone. how do you expect to go to bed with 'any given sunday' going on. so watched good old Al take me to hollywood heaven.
i love the movie, oliver stone certainly put a new perspective into american footbal, the flashes, the fade into blacks, the music and most of all i love the tackles. no toher football movie gives you this insight into the players mind, in depth of the game. of course not to mention Pacino stealing the show...
"claw...for that inch...!!!"
the movie ended around 3.30am. that was the start of my problems. i have to get up at 5.45am to go to work. just as i was about to hit the sack, i get this slight discomfort in my stomach, so i think you know the routine after that but it doesn't end there, it goes on thru out the night, of all the fucking days i have to get diarrhea today. this is shit man. but somehow i managed to get up at 6 and actually went to work, thinking well fitness first does have a toilet. not thinking about the journey there, me the hero left home. as i was waiting at the bus stp at city center, i get the urge for a dump...badly!!! i'm like crazed lunatic running around leeds city trying to find a toilet. at 6.45am, in the dark when nothing is open. this is what they meant when they said 'shit happens'. oh man oh man...i was like i was going to explode, but to my rescue i saw a bus no.3(goes home) come by and i just jumped on it, went home and took a dump...oh man. my asshole was on fire, smokin....damn it was literally burning.
so guess what, second day at fitness first went bye bye. aiyo, the scene in the bus waiting for him to take me home, i was like a junkie badly in need for a shot to get high, rattling in the bus, the guy in the next seat thought i was crazy, or probably thought i WAS a junkie.
you know the worst part is not that i couldn't go to work but it's that i didn't have a number or person to call and inform. don't have fitness first number, neither anyone working there. C.G. is in malaysia, oh shit man. well tomorrow i have to go see them and explain, sigh. this is all the nasi lemak's fault la. 4 ppl had it the same, but i got it the worst. i think it's because of the chili seed, accidentally went in man. it was damn tasty but i paid the price.
i was in bed and in the toilet the whole day. until we went to saba's house, he may not be around anymore but gerrard, raymond and guna are still there. raymond made coffee today and it was awesome...aiyo i become coffee junkie already la. we watched the Chelsea v Man City match. awesome game. then as i was on my way back mohan called and told me this new couple who came in a couple of weeks back had invited us for dinner at their new house. sachin and subha cooked mutton and chicken, i was affraid to eat but had no choice, didn't wanna offend them. beside subha probably took all the effort to cook for us, it's not easy to cook in a newly moved in house.
i just came home, watched conair. it was the ending part. this sad, but when nic cage finally gives his daughter the bunny and she gives him a hug, nic cage breaks into tears and hugs his wife, having his family in his arms again, he burts into tears of joy, tears actually jerked in my eyes as well, the soundtrack 'how do i live without you' by Trisha Yearwood made a huge impact at that time, in my life as well.
tomorrow i have planned to meet mohan at the uni, have lunch a buy guitar strings, kelvin has agreed to lend me his nylon guitar for use temperarly. well tomorrow night is jamming session at mohan's place. i only know how to play 'about a girl' opening chords, heahehahea. i hope my stomach doesn't act up tomorrow, it hasn't though. i took some chinese medication and walaa...
